Rising 1st-2nd graders
Your young attorneys will work on the essential skills of public speaking and how to consider multiple perspectives as they perform skits, plays, and reader’s theater pieces. This program, formerly called Take the Stage, will have a legal leaning as our youngest attorneys learn that there are sometimes two (or more!) sides to every story. We bring our learning together on the last day with a final performance.
Rising 3rd-4th graders
Our attorneys will definitely have their day in court as they put famous fairy tale characters on trial. They may have heard the story of Goldilocks and The Three bears but should Goldilocks actually be held accountable for trespass? At camp, we are anxious to see how this will all unfold!. Students will explore many parts of the legal system, from learning the roles in a courtroom to writing closing statements. At the same time, they will be building communication skills, learning to identify multiple perspectives, and think critically.
Rising 5th-6th graders
All rise! Our oldest lawyers will build on and extend their foundational understanding of the legal system at this engaging camp. We've all heard the tragic fate of Humpty Dumpty, but at camp we will unravel records that suggest the King had been told of past safety concerns! Students will learn how to make objections and how to craft the best questions for witnesses. At the same time, they will be building communication skills, learning to identify multiple perspectives, and to think critically.

- Daily camp culture rituals create a strong, silly, and supportive camp community.
- Extended care activities follow a theme that continues the fun and exploration beyond the regular camp day.
