Meet our Camp Director: Alejandra Ceja

Alejandra Ceja is a 7th-grade science teacher in San Jose, CA during the school year. She holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Biology and Child Development and a Master's Degree in Education from Loyola Marymount University.

Her teaching credential is in elementary multiple subjects with bilingual authorization and she is currently pursuing her single subject credential in science. Prior to her work in science, Alejandra was a Two-Way Bilingual Immersion teacher as well as a teacher for America Teacher.  During her spare time, Alejandra enjoys traveling, hiking, and trying new foods! Food recommendations are always welcome.  

Alejandra loves the amazing relationships that teaching allows her to build with students, staff, parents, and the community. She also loves that Brainy Bunch allows students to be silly, and creative as they grow toward their full potential. She notes that Camp Brainy Bunch is a place where kids can have a ton of fun while also being exposed to awesome concepts that challenge them to think about the world in new ways. 

She is excited to return for another awesome summer with Camp Brainy Bunch. Her campers will be playing games, pushing their thinking, and making new friends. She looks forward to sharing their summer milestones with families through the photos, stories, and relics that they will send home.
